Steenbokkie Private Nature Reserve is a 7,500 ha family-run working, game, and hospitality farm where we offer comfortable, affordable accommodation for the overnight traveller and an unforgettable farm experience to the family of the holidaymaker.

Breathtaking stargazing at night, surrounded by the wide open spaces of the Karoo, with the Nuweveld Mountains in the distance Steenbokkie offers a unique country retreat.

We have a shop at our friendly Reception to cater to basic needs like ice, cool drinks, and Karoo Chops and some beautiful gifts, treats, and succulents from our nursery. Consider yourself lucky if there are rusks or sourdough bread available.
